We are a non-profit organization founded in 2015. Our aim is to promote physical activity in the form of (but not limited to) different flow arts such as poi, staffs, hooping and juggling. Our goal is to grow, inspire, meet new people, learn from each other and evolve. We believe in kindness, respect, encouragement and that everyone should have the opportunity to try flow arts. When it’s not too cold outside we meet up, have a picnic, practice, spin fire and have a good time.
We have indoor practice during fall, winter and spring during most Thursdays and Sundays. Please see the separate events found on our page or this calendar for the exact dates as we are sometimes closed due to school holidays.
Practice times in general
The closest metro stations are Rådhuset and Mariatorget respectively.
First time is free, after that you pay 50 kr each time you drop in, or you can become a fully fledged Stockholm Flow member and get unlimited access to workshops in many different disciplines (different flow props, acrobatics, dance, performances etc.) and all the practice sessions (twice a week). For this you only pay 600 kr each term. To become a member, just visit our membership registration section and follow the instructions. For additional information bout our membership, click here.
BYLAWS AND POLICIES
Stockholm Flow is a registered non-profit organisation. We have regular board- and member meetings and we are completely transparent in the way we operate. To learn more about this you may read our bylaws and policies in our documents-section.
“If you play with fire, you might get burnt. But let’s do our best not to. Okay?”
Fire safety is taken very seriously at the fire spinning events created by the Stockholm Flow organizers. In order to ensure the safety of both spinners and spectators every spinner must comply with our fire safety protocol regardless of their individual experience or previous manner of conduct. Please read our fire safety policy listed in our documents-section.
